The management of THL-Luna, a.s. declares this
THE INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY IMS_02_01
approved by the company's management, which is a commitment to achieving and maintaining IMS standards in the management and improvement of systems in all processes of THL - Luna, a.s.
THL-Luna, a.s. undertakes to use this integrated policy to:
- to provide activities in the field of "Warehousing, Logistics and Cargo Handling" by employees with professional competence, which we will maintain and increase,
- in the process of providing "Warehousing, Logistics and Cargo Handling", we will continuously improve the IMS and set clear IMS objectives through quality management and improvement, especially by reviewing, monitoring and auditing the quality of the IMS product, processes and procedures,
- greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources lead to improvements while preventing pollution of the natural environment; we focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through the IMS set targets, and we continuously improve energy efficiency and participate in renewable energy projects,
- ensure the availability of information and resources to achieve IMS targets,
- conduct all activities in accordance with mandatory and other relevant obligations and comply with legal and other requirements,
- to pay attention to the quality and quantity of water consumed in its operations, to ensure sustainable management of resources and to reduce the waste produced,
- to minimize the potential and possibilities of accidents, to continuously update and improve internal regulations and guidelines for hazard identification, risk assessment and determination of safety measures for incident and accident management,
- emergency preparedness and response, constantly update and train employees about possible accident risks, maintain up-to-date and always available emergency plans, actively seeking possible risks in cooperation with our suppliers and customers,
- regularly set goals and update the OSH and FP procedure, ensure and create conditions that will help to implement it. Analyze risks and update organizational guidelines for fire protection and to regularly train its employees,
- to observe responsible handling and management of chemical substances in accordance with internal regulations, in the case of handling chemical substances and chemical mixtures, to pay attention to their use and to protect the environment,
- take care of employees' PPE and monitor their use,
- for all machinery and handling equipment used in the provision of services, consider all potential risks and, where necessary, implement measures to protect operators from them. Technical protection measures shall be implemented by means of protective devices or monitoring units which fulfil a safety function. These measures shall be thoroughly verified.
- plan the ergonomics of the workplace, consider the nature of the work, the position of the worker and the environment, the organization of work at the workplace, workplace equipment, time demands, hygiene and safety regulations of the company and relevant standards; to design workplace ergonomics well, to gain a positive effect on employee performance, reduce accidents and generally contribute to greater work efficiency.
